WHAT IS THE COLORADO FEDERATION OF DOG CLUBS?
As stated in the first paragraph of their web page, to which you can reach by clicking above, "The CFDC has participated in the state legislative process for the past several years. We have opposed breed-specific and guardianship laws and laws that overly-regulate dog owners. We have supported dangerous dog laws, and other laws that affect everyday life with dogs."
MSDTC has joined the Colorado Federation of Dog Clubs and our delegate to their meetings is Fran Maes. Linda Hart, secretary of the organization, gave a brief talk at our picnic and announced the NAIA conference, called "Enhancing the Bond,' being held at Crowne Plaza Hotel, DIA, on October 2/3. NAIA is the National Animal Interest Alliance, and is an educational organization of business, agricultural, scientific and recreational interests organized 1991 to support and promote responsible animal ownership and use, animal welfare and to oppose animal rights extremism.'

Thanks to Amy Galperin, we have some wonderful candid shots taken during the May 8/9 obedience trial. Click on the two listings to the left, under Event Photos. When the page opens, you will see a larger photo on the top. Click on any of the smaller pictures and they will move to the top in a larger format. How well this works depends, of course, on your computer
